SANCTUARY SIDE DOORS ARE ATTENDED! – For those with mobility issues, and for the occasional inclement weather—the north side doors of the Sanctuary are available.  You will find them attended prior to each Sunday Morning Worship Service.  IF YOU LEAVE THE SANCTUARY THROUGH THOSE DOORS, please close them tightly behind you…they do not close without help!  Thank you!

Cross Lutheran Church members are now able to give their contributions to the Lord and their church by way of our church website (see the Home Page).
We now have a button titled Give Online. Click there and you will go to the online Giving Site and then follow the directions. The financial site is completely secure and reports of your giving are sent to Jim Arnold, the Financial Secretary at Cross.

This Online Giving provides you with the ability to give by self-directed bank transfers, or you may use your debit or credit card, or you may select a one-time gift or set up recurring contributions to the General Fund and Building Ministry Fund, as well as other ‘listed’ funds, including a limited number for our School Ministry.

If you are currently a ‘Simply Giving’ participant and wish to change to online giving—you will need to contact Mr. Arnold to let him know you wish to stop that method of giving, otherwise those contributions will continue.

In addition, visitors to our website will also be able to give a contribution to Cross Lutheran in the same way.

If you have questions, or would like more information, please contact Jim Arnold:

Cross Cares is our Homeless Ministry that started as an after-school club stuffing bags with “easy-open” food items and hygiene kits.  Cross Lutheran has partnered with Steve’s Pantry at Gruene United Methodist Church.  They provide us with the bags; we fill them up; and then they pass them out to the homeless in our community.  On the 3rd Sunday of the month we are asking you to bring “easy-open” food items and personal size hygiene items to support this ministry.  Easy-open items mean that they can be opened without a can opener.  SAMS’s Club and Costco are great places to shop for these items.  Thank you for supporting this ministry.

The Elexio Administrator Team has implemented the Personal Information Edit capability.  In the very near future, all Cross Lutheran Church members that have a User Id and Password can update their and their family members’ personal information.  Please be looking for an email containing directions on how to edit your personal information in Elexio Community.  If you have any questions, please call Glen Henricks at 210-287-2498.

"You don’t have to stop asteroids with one hand or push a nuclear bomb through a black hole to be a world class hero.  The truth is, what you do to help others on a daily basis is what counts the most.  Not every day is going to offer us a chance to save somebody’s life, but every day offers us an opportunity to affect one.”  Mark Bezos – Lesson from a Firefighter.  As followers of Jesus Christ, we should find ourselves moved to help those in need and step forward, grasping opportunities to affect lives in a positive way.  C3Cross Coalition Connection, which stands for , is a new group ministry here at Cross.  Our goal is to help support local foster and adoptive families in need.  Stay tuned!  In the coming weeks, our ministry group will share with you opportunities where you can help.  If you have any questions, please talk to one of our group members, Jan & Ernie Simon, James & Shanna Smith or Patsy Saputa.  “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12
