SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASSES
In the Fellowship Center, Pastor Mark Harris is leading the final week of a study entitled “First Things First” based on the New Testament book of Colossians. Next week, he will begin a new class called “JONAH and the Unrelenting God” that will take place each week of the Lenten season. An additional Bible Class for adults meets in the Parlor—and continues a study of Martin Luther’s teachings on prayer. Classes begin at 10:00 a.m., and all adults are encouraged to attend Bible Class!
Grab a cup of coffee, breakfast taco, and/or donut (served out of the Large Kitchen in the Fellowship Center building,) and join us!

ASH WEDNESDAY / LENT APPROACHES
This Wednesday, February 26, we enter the Season of Lent.  It is a season marked with special attention, devotion, and Worship.  We’ll gather together for special midweek Worship Services conducted each Wednesday during Lent at 10:00 a.m. and again at 7:00 p.m.  The Ash Wednesday Service (February 26) will have special features:  the (optional) Imposition of Ashes, and the celebration of Holy Communion.  The following five weeks (March 4, 11, 18, 25, and April 1) will feature a brief, devotional Service that will help us all to meditate more deeply on Christ’s Passion.  Please plan to bring your family (and friends!) and join your church family as we prepare to behold Holy Week and then celebrate Easter.  Remember also the fellowship meal served each of the six Wednesdays of Lent from 5:30 until 6:30.  These meals are hosted and served by various Boards of our congregation.  A free will offering will be received.  Take-home family devotions booklet will once again be prepared and available for pick up in the Sanctuary.  This year the devotions are entitled:  Deliver Us:  Jesus Sets Us Free.

ATTENTION MEN OF CROSS!
Biblical Manhood is the title of the booklet we will study together at the Men’s Breakfast Bible Class beginning Friday, March 20!  We meet at the IHOP on the I-35 frontage road from 6:30 until 7:30 a.m.  This study will conclude on the last Friday in May, when we break for the months of June, July and August.  Please consider joining with other brothers in Christ for some great food, fellowship, and growth in faith!
